RekhtaX is an initiative by the Rekhta Foundation aimed at preserving and promoting the Urdu language, literature, arts, and culture by empowering local communities around the world. By extending our mission beyond boundaries, RekhtaX will bring the essence of Rekhta to cities and communities globally through events that celebrate the richness of Urdu.
Through RekhtaX, any individual, group, institution, or organization passionate about Urdu can host and organize a Rekhta event at their own location. The Rekhta Foundation will extend full support to these organizers. After a screening process, a free annual license will be granted, enabling organizers to host RekhtaX events across the globe. With RekhtaX, we are dedicated to "cultivating Urdu ki riwayat" worldwide, fostering a deeper connection to Urdu's rich cultural heritage.
RekhtaX can be organized by passionate individuals, organizations, and institutions who share a common goal: to amplify the passion for Urdu within their local communities. RekhtaX will serve as a platform for live performances, literary discussions, and various art forms that will highlight the beauty and diversity of Urdu culture.
RekhtaX events will be independently organized under a "free license" granted by the Rekhta Foundation to qualified organizers for a specific period. While these events will not be fully controlled by the Rekhta Foundation, organizers will agree to abide by our format and guidelines for curation, promotion, branding and event management. This will ensure a cohesive experience that aligns with our mission while allowing for local flavor and creativity.
We are committed to maximizing awareness and visibility for Urdu culture. RekhtaX events will be extensively promoted through the Rekhta Foundation's social and digital platforms. By doing so, we aim to build a global community united by a shared love for Urdu, fostering connections that transcend geographical boundaries.
